<h3>Tonlé Sap, also called Kampong Phluk, located in the north of Kambodia, is the biggest fresh lake in the southeast Asia. It stetches 500km in length and 110km in width. In the endless water, hidden a village, in where the local people live in the house over the water, known as floating village. <br></h3> <h3>This red dust road is the only road leadind to the outside world for the villagers. Also the way visitors approach the village. </h3> <h3>Along the road, lie the rent boats for travellers. </h3> <h3>Get off to the vast lake and the extraordinary village. </h3> <h3>Floating on the rippling wavelets of the lake, I enjoy the breeze. </h3> <h3>20 mintues later, small houses over the water can be seen here and there. </h3> <h3>Local people are social and live in groups with their houses standing side by side in a row. </h3> <h3>Typically there are two floors for each house. The 1st floor is a kind of garage(for boat), storing space and shelter for poultry. The 2nd floor is for living. <br></h3> <h3>They all make a living on fishing, and............ tourism. </h3> <h3>The only building on land is a temple. To cambodians, showing great piety towards their Gods is the most important thing. </h3> <h3>All people here can ride boat, even children.</h3> <h3>These small boats are rent boat to take travelers to hang around the woods in the lake.</h3> <h3>Leaving the village, head to the center of the lake. </h3> <h3>It is said people love staying in the center of the lake to enjoy the sunset. </h3> <h3>Floating stores sell drinks and snacks to the visitors. </h3>
