Even though this quote sounds ridiculous, it is believable in the world of Peter Pan’s. I first found this book childish and sound like a fairytale, but afterward, I realized that there’re still questions worth discussing, especially about the moral. The moral is to stay young and stay foolish. The book depicted supports for this point throughout the story: children living temporarily in the Neverland on their own and fighting against James Hook are all clear examples that report the idea of the rights and power of kids. As myself still being a child, I believe in the world-changing impact of the young and the teenagers. Therefore, this I totally agree with the idea of this book but the content doesn’t impress me since it is still children’s literature. ing more on the story, even if this is children’s literature, details in the story are unpredictable and they don’t follow the rules of classic children’s stories. The ending satisfied me the most because it explained the stories of Wendy’s next few generations. I had never even had an idea that Peter Pan is going to teach every generation of Wendy’s to fly and take them to the Neverland. I still wonder if the previous generations of Wendy had the same adventure. I suggest younger readers read this book because it will fit their taste more. However, the original’s literacy is high-level, so I advise readers to read simple versions if this book is not used for academic uses.<br></h3> <h3>《The Curious Incident Of the Dog In the Night Time》讀后感（2019-02-11）：</h3><h3>I finished the book and I personally appreciate this kind of novel. Although this is about family, relationship and the normal life, I found this one outstanding and I continued reading unlike other relationship literature and movies. Christopher who is the main character has lots of similarities with me both on the personalities and the preferences. We are both good at maths and on calculation, theories, logic, and graphics when we observe things. I am indeed "observative" and knowledgeable about maths, but Christopher is on a much higher level. His brain works like a computer mixed with a biological brain. Since I have friends as weird as him who are all math genius, I understand why Christopher reacts so strangely. The most surprising moment is when Christ realized that father killed Wellington and mother was "expelled" out of the family by her will. The ending is very astonishing because normally stories' ending involves an unsatisfied character and a "villain", but this book deleted all of these and instead made it even more interesting and natural. Overall, this book taught me a lot on not only maths skills but also life skills. Surprisingly, the Quarter Quell, which is the major battle in this book hasn’t even started yet. I guess most of that game is going to be in the next book. However, as I glanced through the last sentence of the book: “But Gale isn’t one to keep secrets from me. “Katniss, there is no District Twelve.”” Then, I know that the Quell is going to be short and mysterious, maybe the game paused because of the uprising…..
For the part I read this week, I found the rule very cruel and disadvantaging for District 12, especially Katniss. She was kind of forced to go in to a second and harder challenge. Between the 3 Victors: Peeta, Katniss, and Haymitch, they argued a lot about who’s joining the Quell. I found 3 conflicts:
1. The Victory Tour is suffering and they’ll still be the rebellions against the government so they would rather die there in the arena
2. Katniss must protect Peeta since he saved her life last time
3. If they die, there’ll only be 1 victor in the district

?Being the second book of the Hunger Games Trilogy, it’s just fascinating. I watched the movies as well. Surprisingly, I thought the second book is simply about the rebels and the events after the Games. However, there’s another Hunger Game! I really appreciated the ending of the 75th annual Hunger Game as well as the 3rd Quarter Quell. Katniss Everdeen found a magnificent way to keep 7 tributes alive and to create 7 victors. Using the lightning and the wire, she poited to the sky and shot an arrow with the wire tangled while the lightning stroke at twelve. Breaking the force field, the rules were completely useless! Catching Fire showed the idea of dystopia and utopia. Panem was governed by President Snow, a utopian, who tried to create peace with violence. I would like to compare the Hunger Games with the Giver. In the Giver, the main character Jonas who discovered the clandestine cruel rules of the government: Execution, once he had a unique job called the Receiver of Memory. This is similar to Katniss, who found out the vicious capitol which killed thousands to stop uprisings once she became a victor. The world in the Giver Quartet and Panem in the Hunger Games Trilogy both presented an ideology of utopia with almost identical thoughts. I guess that’s probably why I can understand this book that is normally confusing, since I read a few utopian books. Overall, I enjoyed the second book more than the first one, and I will finish the trilogy with the last book: The Mocking jay if I have time.
