Hope your National Day holiday was a great one. This week in English we ed on the letter E - Elvis elephant put his egg in an envelope. When counting the days in K2C, we came to notice odd and even numbers, and why that happens. We made a plan to match the celebrations to their seasons, and will decorate our s next week. We created a wonderful Fall art zone, with the colours of Fall, along with books, leaves, and colouring sheets to match. We read Fall books, and discussed the symbols of Fall- brown, red, gold, leaves, wind, pumpkins, harvest and more. On Thursday we made posters about Oct 14th being World food day. In the west on this day we would gather canned food to give to the poor. We just wanted others to be aware of this day, so we went around our school promoting this celebration/special day. Lastly Friday was Science day, and we inquired into how different people use water each day. Do we waste water? Can we save water?
