I am Neelam Brar, I am your Liberal Party Candidate for Burnaby South. Really excited to be running in my hometown Burnaby South where I was born and raised. I understand how hard it is to build a prosperous life, how much hard work and dedication it takes. My parents were immigrants that moved here from India; and I saw how hard they worked in order to give me the best education possible. Ive got 20 years of international business experiences, working on the ground in Hong Kong, Singapore, Mumbai, New York and Toronto. Ive got two MBAs, masters in business degrees from Columbia Business School and London Business School, as well as I graduated from the Richard Ivey School of Business in London, Ontario, and prior to that I was at UBC. It is with all of this Education that I have had a very long career in international finance, entrepreneurship in technology. The reason I am running is because the government needs strong voices with experience, global and local experience, and I have both. I am really excited to be working on the Liberal Platform, and hope I can be your voice, fighting for more jobs in Burnaby, more access to affordable housing in Burnaby, and most importantly, more affordability and resources for the youth as well as the seniors. Together we can ensure a prosperity life for everybody living and working in Burnaby.
