初心

<h3>  On November 27,2019,Dr. Tran came to Yulin Gaoxin No.1 Middle School, and we had a teacher seminar. At first, Ms. Wu introduced Dr. Tran to us. We knew the topic of this seminar was engaging students in Task-based learning.</h3><h3> 2019年11月27日上午,Tran博士蒞臨榆林高新一中,我們基于任務(wù)型學(xué)習(xí)法進(jìn)行了一次有意義的英語(yǔ)教師研討會(huì)。</h3> <h3>Before the seminar, Dr. Tran showed us a question:"What is a task?" Some teachers shared their opinions.</h3><h3> 在研討會(huì)開始之前,Tran 博士提出了一個(gè)問(wèn)題:"什么是任務(wù)?"一些老師分享了她們的觀點(diǎn)。</h3> <h3>  Dr. Tran showed us the definition of the task. That is to say, a task is an activity which has a clear goal or outcome,and it requires communication in the target language. Then we watched a short video. In this short video, a seven-year-old boy told stories according to some pictures. It was a typical creative task.</h3><h3> Tran 博士首先解釋了任務(wù)的定義,任務(wù)是一種有明確目標(biāo)或結(jié)果的活動(dòng),同時(shí)它需要用目標(biāo)語(yǔ)言進(jìn)行交流。然后我們觀看了一個(gè)小視頻,視頻中一個(gè)七歲的小男孩根據(jù)一些沒有文字的圖片講故事,這是一個(gè)典型的富有創(chuàng)造性的任務(wù)。<br></h3> <h3>Then, Dr. Tran explained the advantages of task-based learning to us. To be specific, it provides an authentic context for communication; the language explored arises from students' needs to complete a given task. What's more, when designed well, the tasks can be very fun and motivational for students.</h3><h3> Tran博士向我們解釋了一些任務(wù)型學(xué)習(xí)法的優(yōu)勢(shì)。更重要的是,當(dāng)設(shè)計(jì)的好的時(shí)候,任務(wù)可以激發(fā)學(xué)生的動(dòng)機(jī),同時(shí)他們也會(huì)對(duì)任務(wù)感興趣。</h3> <h3>  Dr. Tran showed us a sample task, and this task was about planning a party. There were three main parts in this task. They were pre-task, during task and post-task. Teachers worked in pairs, and finished the first activity of the pre-task. To be specific, we decided the type of the party and other details. Then we invited some groups to share their parties with us. For example, Ms. Bai shared the school anniversary party; Ms. Hao shared the pajama party;Ms. Ma shared Thanksgiving party and Ms. He shared bachelor party with us. They were creative and interesting. </h3><h3> Tran 博士建議老師們小組合作,共同設(shè)計(jì)一個(gè)派對(duì),主題自選,然后我們邀請(qǐng)了一些小組展示了她們?cè)O(shè)計(jì)的不同派對(duì)。</h3> <h3>  Dr. Tran presented five different types of tasks, and they were information-gap tasks(map exercise), problem-solving tasks (solutions), decision-making tasks(a road trip), opinion exchange tasks(an editorial) and creative tasks(designing a superhero).</h3><h3>When we design some tasks, here are some questions we need to consider. 1.Is the task authentic? 2.Is it individual or group work? 3.Is it collaborative or competitive or both? 4.Do students have the vocabulary they need to accomplish the task?</h3><h3> 5.Is there a final product that students can proudly show off?</h3><h3> Tran博士呈現(xiàn)了五種不同類型的任務(wù),并舉例解釋了這五種不同的任務(wù)。同時(shí)當(dāng)我們?cè)O(shè)計(jì)設(shè)計(jì)任務(wù)時(shí),有以下五個(gè)方面需要我們考慮:</h3><h3>1.任務(wù)是否真實(shí)? 2.是個(gè)人任務(wù)還是小組任務(wù)? 3.它是協(xié)作的還是競(jìng)爭(zhēng)的,或者兩者兼而有之的? 4.學(xué)生是否掌握完成任務(wù)所需的詞匯? 5.學(xué)生是否有最終作品進(jìn)行展示?</h3> <h3>  At last, Dr. Tran shared us some keys for classroom management. Meanwhile, we raised some questions and discussed them together.we learned a lot from this seminar.
