<h3>The second and the third day in Florence was nice and basically all related to the Medici. The Medici family surely ruled the whole city for many years and had a lot of contributions to the renaissance. So today, we will have a special version about the Medici.</h3> <h3>The Old palace was the old house of the Medici family in the centre of the city. The house has a tower which is one of the tallest buildings in the city. The house was used as the city hall after it was abandoned by the Medici. The old house had a lot of statues and paintings of the family, but most of the artifacts were donated to the Uffiz Museum nearby. We climbed up to the top of the tower and watch the view of the whole city. The wind blows quite hard on the roof but the view is awesome.</h3> <h3>The second place that is related to the Medici is the pitti palace. The palace is the second house of the Medici’s. The place is called the Pitti palace is because the palace is bought from the Pitti family. The two families were competitors, the Pitti family and the other families were first trying to stop the Medici from flourishing. However, they failed and their reputation became bad which finnally lead to their fall. After the pitti family fail, the Medici bought their house and lived in it. In the Pitti palace, there are many private collections of artifacts made by famous artists, including a lot of paintings by Raphale. The Boboli garden is also a delegant masterpiece. The garden is extremely beutiful and also luxurious. The whole building seemed normal on the outside but extremely luxurious inside.</h3> <h3>To sum up, the Medici surely is great and contributory to florence and the whole renaissance period. Almost all of the famous artists in the period have some relationship with the family.</h3><h3><br></h3><h3></h3>
