<p><b style="color: rgb(176, 79, 187);">Date: September 10th, 2020</b></p><p><b style="color: rgb(176, 79, 187);">Location: Class 2 Grade 6 in Yongming Middle School</b></p><p><b style="color: rgb(176, 79, 187);">Theme:Phonemes ?</b></p><p><b style="color: rgb(176, 79, 187);">Participants: principal and all the English teachers in Yongming Middle School </b></p> <p><b style="color: rgb(22, 126, 251);"> Principal Mr.Liu and all the English teachers in Yongming Middle school observed Ms. Zhai’s English class on Sep.10th.</b></p><p><br></p><p><b style="color: rgb(22, 126, 251);"> Ms. Zhai got started from a dictation which is about some diphthongs and consonants. After that, she gave students a free talk time, and the students did a really good job. A boy did a fantastic Frozen dubbing, which surprised all the students and teachers, and three other groups had shown great and fluent English conversations. All the class gave them a big big hand. Ms.Zhai praised them and also helped them to correct some mistakes. </b></p> <p><b style="color: rgb(255, 138, 0);"> A review was closely followed by. Ms. Zhai checked some of the students to know whether they can pronounce the Phonemes properly. Then they continued to learn the new IPA.</b></p> <p><b style="color: rgb(176, 79, 187);"> When it comes to new IPA, Ms.Zhai asked the students to read by themselves firstly because they had already learned the pronunciation rules. Then she encouraged some volunteers to read for the class, she corrected some little mistakes and pronounced for the class.</b></p> <p><b style="color: rgb(57, 181, 74);"> Ms.Zhai also designed a group cooperative learning activity, trying to help all the students to pronounce properly. The students helped each other, a heated discussion was going on.</b></p> <p><b style="color: rgb(22, 126, 251);"> Then Ms. Zhai checked some of the group members, and gave them team points. </b></p> <p><b style="color: rgb(255, 138, 0);"> At last, Ms. Zhai thanked all the teachers for observing her class, for helping her improve teaching skills. Because of Teacher’s day, class 2 and her made a small gift for all the teachers. They sang a sone-A Little Love. It was so sweet and warm.</b></p> <p><b style="color: rgb(255, 138, 0);"> After the class, all the English teacher evaluated this lesson. They praised Ms.Zhai for her vitality and efficiency, also helped her with some suggestions.</b></p><p><b style="color: rgb(255, 138, 0);"> Mrs.lin，the leader of the teaching and research English group，made a conclusion, she affirmed the good aspects, and also gave some advice. She suggested all the group to stand up together and read one by one, which would be more efficient. She also gave some uesful Phonemes learning suggestions.Ms. Zhai was very grateful for that. </b></p><p><b style="color: rgb(255, 138, 0);"> English is full of fun, All of our teachers are on the way to learning and growing, we will try our best to help the students enjoy English learning.</b></p>
