Halloween party</p> <p>預(yù)熱了兩個(gè)星期的Halloween party，我們終于來了！很幸運(yùn)的是我們和另一個(gè)雙語工程的孩子suzy一起同行，兩人一路上玩英語游戲“I spy”，讓兩個(gè)多小時(shí)的路程不再感到無聊。</p><p><span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51);">“哈嘍墨園·HELLOWEEN English-Speaking Camp now starts!” Families from different parts of Guangdong Province arrived at the Mo Yuan Li Campsite. We signed our names on the Halloween backdrop with fluorescent pens, declaring our spooky arrival!</span></p> <p>活動(dòng)的第一項(xiàng)是分組，因?yàn)槲覀冞t了一點(diǎn)時(shí)間到，于是就直接分到了A組，組名是“Strawberry and dinosaur”</p> <p><span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51);">The Mo Yuan Village is a well-preserved historic village with an outstanding collection of humanistic and cultural monuments. In the Mo Yuan Wei, we participated in the traditional Kick-off Ceremony and stamped our black handprints on the boards. Afterwards we washed our hands with the water from the 400-year-old well, sympoblizing blessing of health and peace.</span></p> <p>Jack-o’-Lantern Carving</p><p>因?yàn)槲覀冎霸诩依镉型孢^，所以這次活動(dòng)主要以孩子動(dòng)手為主，另外認(rèn)識(shí)了南瓜的組成。</p> <p>邊玩邊講</p> <p>Halloween Fashion Show</p><p>We dressed up into different figures to join the Halloween Fashion Show. There were ninjas, Supermen, Spidermen, Harry Potters, Alice (in the Wonderland) and Pikachu! Not to mention witches, skeletons, and ghosts!</p><p>We walked the catwalk dressed in costumes of Halloween figures on the runway. Smiles!</p><p><span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51);">We showed our wonderful and spooky poses on the runway. Everybody was excited and screamed out loudly! </span></p> <p>Campfire Party</p><p>After all the exciting games we had in the morning, let’s make our campfire and take a rest. It was a great time we could play games surrounding the campfire and had our big Halloween cake!</p> <p>Trick-or-Treat</p><p>Trick-or-treating was the most important session of Halloween! Every kid got a full bucket of candies and, sometimes perhaps, played some little tricks on the adults for fun!</p> <p>Another expectation is sleeping in tents. This is the first camping. So Eric is very excited. </p> <p>Day Two</p><p>Master Chef Junior</p><p>We made our pizzas and cupcakes and all became Master Chefs! It was so satisfying that we could enjoy the food made by ourselves!</p><p>Each pizza is done by two families, so Eric and Suzy take turns. </p> <p>The cupcakes were decorated with spooky Halloween elements. All cupcakes were unique and precious! Yummy!</p><p>Put the cream in the bag and squeeze it down with your hands. Look, the cream is coming out. You can pile the cream around, or you can make it into a little flower.</p><p>Finally, make some decorations. </p> <p>Treasure Hunt</p><p>Where were the treasures? We followed the map and found the checkpoints: picking guavas and digging sweet potatoes.</p><p>The big and yellow guava means it is ripe，then you can pick it from the branches. </p> <p>First take away the vines on the soil, then dig a hole with a small hoe, and you can see the sweet potatoes coming out. </p><p>Pull them out by hand</p> <p>這次活動(dòng)收獲很多，對(duì)大人而言，結(jié)識(shí)了很多工友，交流了很多學(xué)習(xí)心得，對(duì)孩子而言，多了一個(gè)用英文交流的環(huán)境，提高了英文表達(dá)的興趣，還有成長(zhǎng)！在動(dòng)手環(huán)節(jié)做南瓜燈??、做蛋糕??，甚至是挖紅薯過程中，自己獨(dú)立完成，不要媽媽幫忙；在探寶和討糖過程中，不要家長(zhǎng)陪同，還跟媽媽說：“我可以堅(jiān)持”！在老師分配南瓜，準(zhǔn)備做南瓜燈時(shí)，看到有伙伴對(duì)自己的南瓜形狀不滿意而鬧情緒時(shí)，主動(dòng)提出和她交換……這一幕一幕更讓媽媽感到驚喜，孩子長(zhǎng)大了，懂事了！而這些可能就是參加活動(dòng)最大的收獲！</p>
