<p>今天我們要賞讀的經(jīng)典繪本The Very Hungry Caterpillar(好餓好餓的毛毛蟲)出自大名鼎鼎的Eric Carle(艾瑞克·卡爾)老爺爺。</p> <p>Eric Carle, 艾瑞克·卡爾,國際兒童文學大師,繪本專家。他的創(chuàng)作風格鮮明獨特:他采用拼貼的方式,層疊出明亮歡快的圖案。他的創(chuàng)作流露出童稚般的天真,表達出對自然的了解與關(guān)愛,也引導小朋友從身邊的事物中學習。</p> <p>In the light of the moon, a little egg lay on the leaf.</p><p>月光下,一個小小的卵,躺在樹葉上。</p> <p>One Sunday morning, the warm sun came up, and“pop”, out off the egg came a tiny and very hungry caterpillar.</p><p>一個星期天的早晨,暖暖的太陽升起來了——啪!——從卵殼里鉆出一條又瘦又餓的毛毛蟲。</p> <p>He started to look for some food.</p><p>他四下尋找著可以吃的東西。</p> <p>On Monday, he ate through one apple, but he was still hungry.</p><p>星期一,他啃穿了一個蘋果??伤€是覺得餓。</p> <p>On Tuesday, he ate through two pears, but he was still hungry.</p><p>星期二,他啃穿了兩個梨子,可他還是覺得餓。</p> <p>On Wednesday, he ate through three plums, but he was still hungry.</p><p>星期三,他啃穿了三個李子,可他還是餓。</p> <p>On Thursday he ate through four strawberries, but he was still hungry. </p><p>星期四,他吃了四個草莓,但是他還是非常餓。</p> <p>On Friday he ate through five oranges, but he was still hungry. </p><p>星期五,他整整吃了五個橘子,但是他仍然很餓。</p> <p>On Saturday he ate through one piece of chocolate cake, one ice-cream cone, one pickle, one slice of Swiss cheese, one slice of salami, one lollipop, one piece of cherry pie, one sausage, one cupcake, and one slice of watermelon.</p><p>星期六,他吃了好多好多……蛋糕,冰淇淋,黃瓜,瑞士奶酪,香腸,棒棒糖,餡餅,熱狗,杯子蛋糕,還有西瓜!</p> <p>That night he had a stomachache!</p><p>那天晚上,他開始肚子疼了。</p> <p>The next day was Sunday again. The caterpillar ate through one nice green leaf, and after that he felt much better.</p><p>第二天,又是一個星期天。毛毛蟲吃了一片新鮮的樹葉,之后他便感覺好多了。</p> <p>Now he wasn't hungry anymore -- and he wasn't a little caterpillar anymore. He was a big, fat caterpillar.</p><p>現(xiàn)在,他再也感覺不到餓了——他已經(jīng)不再一條小小的毛毛蟲了,他長成了一只肥嘟嘟的大毛毛蟲。</p> <p>He built a small house, called a cocoon, around himself. He stayed inside for more than two weeks. Then he nibbled a hole in the cocoon, pushed his way out….</p><p>他繞著自己的身子,建了一個叫“繭”的小房子。他在里面整整待了兩周。然后他在繭上一點一點地啃了一個小洞,鉆了出來….</p> <p>He was a beautiful butterfly! </p><p>他變成一只漂亮的蝴蝶啦!</p>
