<p class="ql-block"><span style="color: rgb(25, 25, 25);">這是著名演員林棟甫先生向爵士樂(lè)大師致敬的肖像畫(huà)展“四月的巴黎”。</span></p><p class="ql-block"><span style="color: rgb(25, 25, 25);">這幅林棟甫的肖像畫(huà)是出自著名畫(huà)家、作家陳丹青。</span></p> <p class="ql-block">“四月的巴黎”是一首經(jīng)典的爵士歌曲，創(chuàng)作于1933年的百老匯。在這個(gè)肖像畫(huà)展上，看到的人物幾乎都演唱和演奏過(guò)這首歌曲，他們都是爵士樂(lè)大師。從古典藍(lán)調(diào)到搖滾樂(lè)再到現(xiàn)代爵士樂(lè)，他們都是里程碑式的傳奇人物?？蛇@些音樂(lè)奇才大多是黑人，他們音樂(lè)人生的重要時(shí)期恰恰是在美國(guó)種族歧視最黑暗的時(shí)代。他們的音樂(lè)被貶為“魔鬼的音樂(lè)”，他們的社會(huì)境遇極其惡劣，不少人活得極為悲慘。除了音樂(lè)的慰籍，他們當(dāng)中不少人沉淪在酒精和毒品里，好幾位英年早逝。</p><p class="ql-block">在歐洲，尤其在巴黎，他們受到了前所未有的尊重和贊譽(yù)，在巴黎他們度過(guò)了人生中最美好的時(shí)光。他們有的移居歐洲，有的就留在巴黎。</p><p class="ql-block">這些肖像的作者林棟甫，1957年出生于上海。他因早年的譯制片配音和后來(lái)的電視節(jié)目主持，以及在影視劇里塑造的人物形象而為人熟知；而他自幼酷愛(ài)繪畫(huà)，年輕時(shí)堅(jiān)持自習(xí)素描。2013年起他重拾畫(huà)筆，師從意大利畫(huà)家馬泰歐（Matteo Massagrande），并以藍(lán)調(diào)爵士的傳奇人物為自己的創(chuàng)作主題。</p><p class="ql-block">通過(guò)這次爵士人物肖像畫(huà)展，林棟甫要為爵士樂(lè)向巴黎致敬。</p> <p class="ql-block">埃林頓、戴維斯、柯川、孟克、霍金斯，當(dāng)然，還有偉大的路易斯.阿姆斯特朗……以上爵士樂(lè)巨擎的在世之日、在天之靈，絕對(duì)想不到有位遠(yuǎn)在上海的中國(guó)人，年復(fù)一年，描繪他們的臉。</p><p class="ql-block">此事妙不可言。</p><p class="ql-block">林棟甫，還用介紹嗎？他的配音生涯、話劇表演、連續(xù)劇角色、電視節(jié)目的夜間清談——邊上擱一杯葡萄酒——是至少兩代觀眾的記憶。但諸位絕對(duì)想不到，這位上海紳士躲在家里畫(huà)畫(huà)。</p><p class="ql-block">此事妙不可言。</p><p class="ql-block">偷偷畫(huà)畫(huà)的名角兒，很不少。就我一時(shí)記起的例，英國(guó)首相丘吉爾、美國(guó)總統(tǒng)小布什、奧地利音樂(lè)家勛伯格、意大利歌唱家帕瓦羅蒂、比利時(shí)女星奧黛麗.赫本，都在精彩生涯的中晚期，忽然，有如變戲法，他們亮出私房作品，舉辦畫(huà)展，就像眼前這位林棟甫。</p><p class="ql-block">兼愛(ài)作畫(huà)的人物，國(guó)中也不少，但我從未見(jiàn)哪位忙里偷閑、閑里偷忙的愛(ài)畫(huà)人如林棟甫，以如此耿介的寫(xiě)實(shí)性，忠誠(chéng)描繪一張張的目睛與鼻梁。我也從未見(jiàn)過(guò)哪位畫(huà)家一上來(lái)就抱緊他的主題：大家看見(jiàn)，墻上的畫(huà)面全是爵士樂(lè)手，幾乎，全是黑人。</p><p class="ql-block">為什么？我不知道。我能想象的理由來(lái)自記憶：非得要到八十年代，我與棟甫這類五零后才能在上海地面聆聽(tīng)爵士樂(lè)，那時(shí)我們不知道，斷層彼端，也就是我們父輩尚且年輕的二三十年代，上海早已是爵士樂(lè)之城。當(dāng)八十年代“老爵士樂(lè)團(tuán)”在外灘恢復(fù)演奏，席間坐著青年林棟甫嗎？</p><p class="ql-block">不消說(shuō)，上海灘愛(ài)樂(lè)人總能弄到經(jīng)典藍(lán)調(diào)的唱片，陶然聚聽(tīng)。日后，直到八年前——那時(shí)他已五十七歲——他重拾少年時(shí)代的繪畫(huà)愛(ài)好，開(kāi)始用油畫(huà)親手建造一組圖像紀(jì)念碑，如今，他的畫(huà)室站滿了爵士樂(lè)眾神。</p><p class="ql-block">這件私人公案恐怕只會(huì)發(fā)生在上海。棟甫以他一己的情熱，勾連他出生前的那個(gè)舊上海的記憶——他曾沿著密西西比河尋找藍(lán)調(diào)故鄉(xiāng)，有如朝圣。他在法國(guó)電影中三度出演，其中包括索菲瑪索的邀請(qǐng)。他數(shù)次拜訪蒙田故居，在他廣有讀者的專欄寫(xiě)作中嵌入蒙田的警句，日后獲頒法蘭西文學(xué)與藝術(shù)騎士勛章（想象一下，高大的棟甫騎在馬上），最后，他擁有一家數(shù)度易址的著名酒吧，同時(shí)，擔(dān)任法蘭西勃艮第騎士會(huì)的上海會(huì)長(zhǎng)。</p> <p class="ql-block">但我無(wú)法解釋棟甫的激情來(lái)自爵士樂(lè)，還是繪畫(huà)？</p><p class="ql-block">百般詼諧，磁性的低音，有誰(shuí)不會(huì)因棟甫的魅力而動(dòng)容嗎？私下里，當(dāng)他驟然轉(zhuǎn)換各種方言插科打諢，常令我笑到腰疼。但是奇怪，畫(huà)布上的林棟甫是另一位，一位老實(shí)到令我失笑的乖孩。他臣服于那些老臉的每一皺紋、皮囊、眼白，好像他與爵士樂(lè)手神衹的臉，湊得不夠近切。他不是在玩照相現(xiàn)實(shí)主義，而是，他要自己的筆一遍遍在偶像的臉上爬動(dòng)，這才了卻他的無(wú)限景仰。</p><p class="ql-block">是這樣嗎？我不知道，而棟甫目光羞怯，等我“指點(diǎn)”。這可是難題：如果贊賞、驚訝——我確實(shí)驚訝——他如此精準(zhǔn)地把握造型、光影、神態(tài)，他恐怕會(huì)覺(jué)得我在客氣；如果勸他放開(kāi)、放松，將他的工作視為充滿愉悅的畫(huà)，享受色彩、筆觸，形同游戲——而不是留駐偶像——他或許會(huì)失去這批畫(huà)最可寶貴的什么。</p><p class="ql-block">什么呢？我想說(shuō)：虔誠(chéng)。棟甫未必自知——這才是真的虔誠(chéng)——看來(lái)他入戲太深，他說(shuō)得出每個(gè)樂(lè)手的性格、軼事、命運(yùn)，甚至壽數(shù)，他說(shuō)，遠(yuǎn)在四五十年代，黑人樂(lè)手惟在巴黎才能找到完全的愛(ài)與尊敬——現(xiàn)在，倘若他們有靈，會(huì)不會(huì)夜里潛入這個(gè)上海人的畫(huà)室？</p><p class="ql-block">得識(shí)棟甫快二十年了，如今他也過(guò)了花甲之齡，眼看他晚歲做這件有點(diǎn)瘋狂的事，我才更了解他。想想看，他是邱岳峰最后一位弟子，他的繪畫(huà)的私塾老師是意大利當(dāng)代畫(huà)家馬泰歐。他自始便那樣地識(shí)好歹，配音、演戲、朗讀，喝葡萄酒，不曾辜負(fù)他幸運(yùn)，然后偷偷畫(huà)畫(huà)，高尚其事，就像他外出見(jiàn)人，挺身善待自己的禮帽和領(lǐng)結(jié)。</p><p class="ql-block">今晨意外收到一枚阿姆斯特朗的早期視頻，《美麗世界》。瞧著那張痙攣開(kāi)合的大嘴（從前上海弄堂也有這等引入發(fā)笑的大叔），聽(tīng)著歌詞（恍如隔世的善良），忽然我淚流滿面，不可自抑。</p><p class="ql-block">“What a wonderful world”。那一瞬，我當(dāng)然想到了林棟甫，還有此刻在大家面前的畫(huà)。</p><p class="ql-block">陳丹青</p><p class="ql-block"> 2021年5月1日</p> <p class="ql-block">林棟甫在巴伐利亞的素描畫(huà)</p> <p class="ql-block">貝西伯爵，Count Basie，（1904-1984年），爵士鋼琴家、大樂(lè)隊(duì)領(lǐng)隊(duì)。 </p><p class="ql-block">貝西伯爵的名言：</p><p class="ql-block">If you play a tune and a person don’t tap their feet, don’t play the tune.（當(dāng)你演奏一首曲子時(shí)，聽(tīng)的人沒(méi)有用腳打拍子，那就不要演奏這首曲子了）。</p><p class="ql-block">推薦曲目：</p><p class="ql-block">Jumping at the Woodside</p><p class="ql-block">Li’l Darling</p><p class="ql-block">Oh, Lady Be Good</p><p class="ql-block"> Swinging The Blues</p> <p class="ql-block">貝西伯爵</p> <p class="ql-block">班.韋伯斯特 Ben Webster，（1909-</p><p class="ql-block">1973年 ）次中音薩克斯手。 </p><p class="ql-block"><span style="font-size: 18px;">班.韋伯斯特的名言：</span></p><p class="ql-block">If you try all different styles that are in vogue, I think you con yourself.Me, I just stick by my guns; I </p><p class="ql-block">could play the blues and then not be </p><p class="ql-block">blue anymore.（藍(lán)調(diào)是治療任何疾病的補(bǔ)藥。我可以演奏藍(lán)調(diào)，然后就不再憂郁了）。</p><p class="ql-block">經(jīng)典曲目：</p><p class="ql-block">30‘Clock blues</p><p class="ql-block">Everyday I have the blues </p><p class="ql-block">The thrill is gone </p><p class="ql-block">Woke up This morning (my baby’s </p><p class="ql-block">gone） </p><p class="ql-block"><br></p> <p class="ql-block">這位爵士樂(lè)手外貌很像年輕時(shí)的美國(guó)明星格里高利派克，可惜沒(méi)有看到他的相關(guān)介紹。</p> <p class="ql-block">這個(gè)致敬爵士樂(lè)大師的肖像畫(huà)展，是在6月中旬前去觀看的，當(dāng)時(shí)就覺(jué)得非常吸引人，所以當(dāng)時(shí)把肖像畫(huà)的相關(guān)介紹都盡可能拍下來(lái)了，僅極個(gè)別肖像的介紹比較模糊，無(wú)法體現(xiàn)。</p><p class="ql-block">展廳里滾動(dòng)播放著林棟甫先生學(xué)畫(huà)、作畫(huà)的相關(guān)視頻，還有不停播放的爵士樂(lè)，仿佛置身于爵士樂(lè)的表演現(xiàn)場(chǎng)，很享受。</p><p class="ql-block">最近靜下來(lái)，花了幾天時(shí)間，把畫(huà)展信息又重新整理了一下，完成這篇美篇，也等于重溫了一次觀展。</p><p class="ql-block">為了紀(jì)念這些爵士樂(lè)大師，也為了致敬畫(huà)了這么多時(shí)間，精心繪畫(huà)、呈現(xiàn)出這么多栩栩如生的爵士樂(lè)大師的林棟甫先生，特地選了爵士樂(lè)“四月的巴黎”為背景音樂(lè)！</p>
