It soon turned out to be one of the most popular videos on the web in China these days, and I am overwhelmed by its make and the character of Erjiu.</b></p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block"><b style="font-size:20px;">The man, who uses a cane due to a longtime disability, is portrayed as a common hero who never bows to life's difficulties, but strives instead to lead a full and meaningful village life. Erjiu's self-reliance and tenacity have touched the hearts of millions of online viewers.</b></p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block"><b style="font-size:20px;">However quite some netizens seize the opportunity to criticize and challenge the ingenuity, thus a battle of fact-check started all over the country and beyond.</b></p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block"><b style="font-size:20px;">It is always easy to be picky and mean on the web, many people benefit on just being nasty as a profession. However I would encourage people to be empathetic and take it as a story of a positive personality, a rural handicapped who lives on his own ideology, looking after his mum, and act as a helper to the neighboring households to the best of his capabilities. Some clowns tried to undo the whole thing, even traveled to the village. Let's not disturb the the quietness and peace of Erjiu. Even if some minor details are a bit false, it is a story, a story of a hard-working person, who are equipped with all the virtues a man could and should have. To the least why on earth can't we take it as a novel, a drama, instead of finding quarrel in a straw using a telescope. </b></p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block"><b style="font-size:20px;">To me it is a nicely-drafted episode, rather a short movie. The narratives and pictures are all carefully made, touching and uplifting in the broader sense. I would give him a five and pass on my blessings to Erjiu, and the video editor Tang Hao. I expect to see more of this type of story, which sparks greatness of humanity from a rural working person. Life is beautiful in the sense that we take it positively with love and care, regardless who you are and where you are from.</b></p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block"><b style="font-size:20px;">Many webners argue the intensity of such a humble life.
