<p class="ql-block">我的代言人！</p> <p class="ql-block"><span style="font-size: 18px;">渥太華市中心的 3</span>77 Dalhousie street，CIHI總部的早年所在地。在信息所成立5年后的1999年我在此入職，此后十多年的企業(yè)文化是我職業(yè)生涯中最喜歡的，高效務(wù)實(shí)，目標(biāo)明確，人情味濃，美好難忘。</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p> <p class="ql-block">495 Richmond Road, CIHI的現(xiàn)址?？戳诉@牌子，就不用我解釋CIHI是什么的縮寫了。</p> <p class="ql-block">單位大樓下的小花園鳥語(yǔ)花香，午飯后邀上三兩好友閑逛，亦或沒(méi)有預(yù)約卻不期而遇，亦或索性拿上飯到花園里去吃。我的退休計(jì)劃官宣后，靜、文雙友調(diào)整日程，改為與我同日去辦公室，多數(shù)午餐就是在這里完成的。</p><p class="ql-block">6月29日午后，我的老板陪我去還設(shè)備和門卡，又送到大門口依依惜別。這老哥，搞得我興奮的感覺(jué)在<span style="font-size: 18px;">最后一刻</span>瞬間反轉(zhuǎn)，一股難舍的心潮突然涌入眼眶。</p><p class="ql-block"><span style="font-size: 18px;">下午2時(shí)整踏出了大樓門。沒(méi)有成心趕點(diǎn)兒，可就么湊巧，出門后一看表剛好碰上整點(diǎn)，是不是很有儀式感。</span></p><p class="ql-block"><span style="font-size: 18px;">從此以后再回來(lái)就是賓客了。</span></p> <p class="ql-block">系列“慶典“由單位里的同胞同事們于6月14日揭幕。想當(dāng)年我剛進(jìn)所時(shí)，來(lái)自中國(guó)的職員在渥太華總部60多人中我是唯一，連有色人種我也是唯三。24年間全所職工人數(shù)從120人上升為700多人。看看現(xiàn)在咱同胞姐妹的陣勢(shì)，這還不包括請(qǐng)假的，只來(lái)了一部分，都是各組的精英骨干。</p> <p class="ql-block">感謝燕飛熱心組織和每個(gè)人精心準(zhǔn)備的拿手菜，以后不做同事情誼依舊，找機(jī)會(huì)多聚！</p> <p class="ql-block">第一束花來(lái)自這些同胞同事姐妹們。</p> <p class="ql-block">第二個(gè)“慶典“由我在CIHI的娘家人HEX部門在Mill St. Brew Pub （555 Wellington) 于6月21日主辦。蛋糕是我喜歡的紫芋，點(diǎn)這個(gè)風(fēng)味時(shí)沒(méi)多想，事后發(fā)現(xiàn)這口味有點(diǎn)小眾，原來(lái)吃蛋糕跟干工作一樣，風(fēng)格口味因人而異。好在只此一遭，不怕被嫌棄。</p> <p class="ql-block">HEX全家福。因?yàn)榈诙煊衎ranch retreat, 多倫多的健提前一天趕到，德高望重的老兵Gilles 也從家里趕來(lái)，并單獨(dú)帶來(lái)花和賀卡并言傳身教健康退休之密笈。</p> <p class="ql-block">來(lái)個(gè)全家福近照。在我身邊的Jean任何時(shí)候身上都發(fā)著光，哪里有她哪里就有銀鈴般的笑聲，一頓午餐只見(jiàn)她跑前跑后忙和著。我們各自的兒子年齡相當(dāng)，小時(shí)候是最好的朋友，哥哥曾說(shuō)過(guò)不愿從渥太華搬走的原因之一是因?yàn)镴esse 在這里。我和Jean初識(shí)時(shí)倆孩子還在上小學(xué)，一眨眼的功夫兄弟倆都去鄰國(guó)扛長(zhǎng)活了<span style="font-size: 18px;">。</span>兩個(gè)閨蜜媽媽辦公室曾一墻之隔，今后若想聽(tīng)她的聲音就微信吧！</p><p class="ql-block">正中漂亮的Vicky是天份很高的舞友，辦公室里沒(méi)的見(jiàn)，舞蹈室里會(huì)一周見(jiàn)一次，多年修來(lái)的緣份老珍惜了！</p><p class="ql-block"><span style="font-size: 18px;">Vicky旁邊的Mellisa, 絕對(duì)的素食主義者，部門活動(dòng)的操持者，她那輝煌傳統(tǒng)的印度婚禮于我還歷歷在目，如今她卻早已是倆teens的娘了。她送給了我一份特別的禮物，雖然不在我的興趣中，但我很感動(dòng)，因?yàn)樗纳屏己蛯?duì)信仰的執(zhí)著。</span></p><p class="ql-block"><span style="font-size: 18px;">站在Vicky 和Mellisa 后面的即是遠(yuǎn)道而來(lái)的高健，廚藝比之渥太華的同事們高過(guò)一籌，是因?yàn)榧易《鄠惗嗟木壒拭矗?lt;/span></p><p class="ql-block">左三的Yiqun和她前面Alain Yao （瞧這姓，中國(guó)化不？人家可是地道的象牙海岸原住民）加上我，三人項(xiàng)目小組經(jīng)?？杏补穷^，啃得頭大但也挺帶勁。祝兩位好運(yùn)哦！</p><p class="ql-block">左一Hui Ju，滿臉的膠原蛋白，初次見(jiàn)面你一定會(huì)質(zhì)疑CIHI是否有雇傭童工之嫌。她也是個(gè)熱心的社會(huì)活動(dòng)家，后面的照片里你若看到一個(gè)小小的個(gè)子不辭辛苦興致勃勃地舉著自拍桿為大家拍照，那就是她。</p><p class="ql-block">余下的三位紳士，由前往后分別是老板Chris, 老將Gilles, 帥哥Lyndon. 前兩位因?yàn)槎嗄旯ぷ麝P(guān)系，勝似亦師亦友，后一位是部門的技術(shù)大拿，程序化的活歸他管。這三位都是厚道之人，愿好人好運(yùn)！</p> <p class="ql-block">6月24日，branch retreat，正趕上六月是公司的recognition 月，我去洗手間洗個(gè)手的功夫，director為兩位準(zhǔn)退休下屬的嘉獎(jiǎng)講話居然就開(kāi)始了！狼狽的我一進(jìn)會(huì)議室就被高光了，一通掌聲先嘉獎(jiǎng)了我的遲到，急切切地找座位，<span style="font-size: 18px;">懵懵懂懂地直到Director 提到Dance一詞才意識(shí)到講我呢！直愣愣地回了一句Thank You, 再無(wú)更多“獲獎(jiǎng)“感言。事后給Director Ann （我挺欣賞她的）一個(gè)熊抱，算是補(bǔ)償了貌似失禮的環(huán)節(jié)。</span></p><p class="ql-block">Well, 第三束花?；ㄩ_(kāi)花謝終有時(shí)，留下最美的瞬間就夠了。</p><p class="ql-block">Ann還特別準(zhǔn)備了兩個(gè)紙箱子，方便兩位花主帶花回家，多細(xì)心！欣賞她有道理吧！</p> <p class="ql-block">午飯后各經(jīng)理理應(yīng)再繼續(xù)分組開(kāi)會(huì)。到HEX發(fā)揮獨(dú)特風(fēng)格的時(shí)候了！我們的部門“會(huì)址“選擇在旁邊的公園里，邊走邊開(kāi)。會(huì)議主題么，嗯，你懂的！</p> <p class="ql-block">劃重點(diǎn)～會(huì)議的一群旁聽(tīng)者在后面。</p> <p class="ql-block">室外全家福，不對(duì)，是會(huì)議紀(jì)要，出席者合影。</p> <p class="ql-block">從雕像中捕獲靈感。</p><p class="ql-block">手勢(shì)語(yǔ)新解：Go , Chris Go!</p> <p class="ql-block">會(huì)議進(jìn)行中，小意大利街上人手一杯gelato. </p> <p class="ql-block">6月28日，老將Gilles Fortin 在太太的陪同下再次被從家中請(qǐng)回，接受CIHI授與他終身成就獎(jiǎng)。Gilles 勤勤懇懇兢兢業(yè)業(yè)工作了44年，去年70歲退休，獲此獎(jiǎng)眾望所歸。部門在辦公室的成員加上Ann趁機(jī)又照了一張快照。</p> <p class="ql-block">第二張的手勢(shì)語(yǔ)：Yiqun，勝利屬于你！</p> <p class="ql-block">親愛(ài)的阿芳不僅是我的financial advisor、鄰居、朋友，還是善解人意的解語(yǔ)花、守護(hù)者。我生活中每個(gè)值得慶賀的關(guān)口，她都會(huì)送上一份祝福。</p> <p class="ql-block">禮物、賀卡篇</p> <p class="ql-block">Gilles的花，朋友們的卡</p> <p class="ql-block">“撞卡“了！</p> <p class="ql-block">即將擱筆時(shí)，忽然想到我的20年就職紀(jì)念全所大會(huì)。那是2019年，役情前了。那時(shí)每天還要到辦公室去上班，又正趕上公司25年大慶，很方便全所大會(huì)慶祝一番，這仿佛是很久以前的事了，留下幾張珍貴的照片。</p> <p class="ql-block">CEO David O’toole；同年入所的Margaret </p> <p class="ql-block">Michele . 記得我對(duì)你的耳語(yǔ)嗎？“我的這個(gè)獎(jiǎng)也是給Ian的. ” Ian Button 跟我同一天入所，他若仍在，會(huì)和我一同站在這里。</p> <p class="ql-block">并肩的同事加閨蜜何靜Jean</p> <p class="ql-block">Rahme Daoud，我的異族小妹妹。</p> <p class="ql-block">結(jié)束語(yǔ)～離職前的最后一封郵件。</p><p class="ql-block">2023.6.29.</p><p class="ql-block">“My last day at CIHI was approaching to me like a dream but suddenly, it becomes real today!</p><p class="ql-block">In the past a few weeks, many of you congratulated me on my decision of retirement, either in person or through emails or Chats. Some of you made adjustments to work schedules so we could have lunch together; some others scheduled meetings through the MS Teams so we could chat online. My Chinese folks at work had a potluck party for me; The HEX teammates including Gilles, the highly respected veteran and Jian from Toronto, all came for a farewell lunch with me; the last but not least, the SPCS Branch Retreat gave me another opportunity to receive congratulations from more colleagues. I feel very fortunate to be a member of such a great workplace and community, and lucky to have all of you around. Thank you very much for the delicious food, kind remarks, beautiful flowers and generous gifts!</p><p class="ql-block">Many colleagues told me they can’t believe I’m retiring. I agree, I can’t believe either! On May 3, 1999, me and Ian Button, my first friend at CIHI and the friend forever, started our job on the same day with the same team – NHEX. At that time NHEX had 3 persons only; NHEX, OECD and CMDB were all under the same HEX department. The wonderful memories of the ByWard market office were still so fresh but more than 20 years have passed! The small teams back then have grown bigger and bigger and more work and products have been delivered. I’m fortunate to be a witness of the growth of this organization and the teams. It has been a rewarding work experience at CIHI, and throughout these years, I’ve worked with many talented colleagues like you. I’m grateful of the leadership, advice, support, kindness, friendship and all sorts of heartwarming moments you provided to me. While I’m excited about the retirement, the big milestone in my life, I know I’ll be missing you all dearly! </p><p class="ql-block">Many of you also asked me what I’m going to do after retired. On the top of the usual retirement life, one of the to-do’s I have is to follow CIHI’s stories. When your work is broadcast in the news, it will remind me how much fun we had when we worked together and I’ll be proud of you. As a retiree and citizen, I appreciate your endless efforts to make a better health care system for this country.</p><p class="ql-block">I also have a NOT-to-do list. One of them is to avoid being part of the CMDB data, and keep a low key in the data that NHEX, primary health care and many other teams work on. That will be a new form of the contributions I could make to the health care system.</p><p class="ql-block">Stay in touch!”</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">是的，在把最佳24個(gè)工作年貢獻(xiàn)給加拿大的衛(wèi)生信息系統(tǒng)后，今后為之最大的貢獻(xiàn)就是保持健康，不讓或少讓自己的信息在工作過(guò)的數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)中出現(xiàn)。</p><p class="ql-block">加油！</p>
