<p class="ql-block">A Taste of China 中國(guó)味道</p><p class="ql-block">(個(gè)人翻譯,不當(dāng)之處,歡迎指正。)</p> While travelling across China, I'm starting to realise that its variety of food is as vast as its land. <div>在周游中國(guó)的過(guò)程中,我開(kāi)始意識(shí)到中國(guó)的美食種類(lèi)就如同她的國(guó)土一般廣博。<br><div>Different regions in China have different cooking styles and unique dishes. </div><div>在中國(guó),不同的地區(qū)有著不同的烹飪風(fēng)格及獨(dú)特菜肴。</div><div>In Beijing, one such dish is the world-famous Beijing duck. <br></div><div>在北京, 有這樣一道特色菜便是世界著名的北京烤鴨。</div><div>Now I've heard that a good Beijing duck should be crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. </div><div>如今,我還得知,一道好的北京烤鴨需要做得外脆里嫩。</div><div>Let's try it and see...Now that is delicious! <br></div><div>讓我們?nèi)ヒ惶骄烤?.....如今(嘗來(lái))真是太美味了!</div><div>The duck is juicy, and it goes really well with the pancakes and the sweet sauce. </div><div>烤鴨多汁,帶點(diǎn)甜醬、包在面皮兒里真是絕配。</div><div>I know I shouldn't, but I would really like to eat it all!<br>我知道我不應(yīng)該但我真想把它全部吃光。</div><div>Now I'm on my way to try <i>dazhaxie</i>, which is strongly recommended by my friends. </div><div>現(xiàn)在,我要趕去嘗一嘗大閘蟹,這是我朋友們強(qiáng)烈推薦的一道菜。</div><div>Now I've heard that this dish has been on Chinese menus since the Han Dynasty. <br></div><div>如今,我還聽(tīng)說(shuō)這道菜出現(xiàn)在中國(guó)的菜單上是從漢朝開(kāi)始。</div><div>But its translation "hairy crab"doesn't make it sound like something delicious!<br>但是,這道菜的“毛蟹”翻譯使得它聽(tīng)起來(lái)不像是一道美食。</div><div>Now I've been told that the best way to cook <i>dazhaxie</i>, is to steam it to keep its original flavour. </div><div>今天我被告知烹飪大閘蟹最好的方式是清蒸,以保持其原汁原味。</div><div>Ah-here it is. Come on! </div><div>沒(méi)有啥比得上四川火鍋了!我們走起!</div><div>About 200 years ago, people in Sichuan began to cook what they could find with chillies and spices in a pot, and that is believed to be the first Sichuan hot pot.</div><div>約兩百年前,四川人開(kāi)始把他們所能找到的食物拌著辣椒和香料一起放到一口鍋里煮,而這被認(rèn)為是最早的四川火鍋。</div><div>Now, I'm about to try it to see why it is popular all over the country.</div><div>現(xiàn)在,我要去一嘗究竟--為什么火鍋在全國(guó)如此受歡迎。<br>Wow, that is hot!
