After dinner, many people stay up late to watch the Spring Festival Gala on TV or play card games, a tradition called "shou sui," which means staying up to welcome the new year.</p> <p class="ql-block"> During the festival, people visit relatives and friends, exchanging greetings and red envelopes filled with money.
