<p class="ql-block">今年1月份女兒帶外孫回國探親，我們前往廣州接機，并準備在廣州玩幾天。</p><p class="ql-block">廣州是一座現(xiàn)代化的歷史名城，旅游景點很多。女兒和外孫第一次去，且外孫不滿8歲，又不懂中文。時間有限，怎么安排才能玩的順利開心，更好的認識廣州呢？</p><p class="ql-block">行前，我們頗費心思地籌劃了一番。和女兒溝通后，確定了以滿足孩子的好奇求知欲為主，兼顧了解現(xiàn)代文化和歷史傳統(tǒng)，老少皆宜的景點和行程。</p><p class="ql-block">In January this year, my daughter and grandson returned to China for a family visit. Since it was my daughter and grandson’s first visit—and with my grandson being under 8 years old and not speaking Chinese—we had limited time to ensure a smooth, enjoyable trip while helping them experience the essence of Guangzhou.</p><p class="ql-block">Before the trip, we put a lot of thought into planning. After discussing with my daughter, we decided to focus on satisfying my grandson’s curiosity and love for learning, while also blending modern culture with historical traditions. The itinerary needed to be engaging for both children and adults.</p> <p class="ql-block"><b> 動物園 樂趣篇</b></p><p class="ql-block"> Fun at the Zoo</p> <p class="ql-block">小外孫很喜歡小動物，一只布藝的短尾矮袋鼠帶給他無盡的快樂，近萬公里的天上飛地上轉(zhuǎn)都沒有丟失，真的是愛不釋手。說要去看動物，他非常高興。聽說這里的動物園有熊貓，就更加興奮了， panda panda 叫個不停。</p><p class="ql-block">My little grandson adores animals. A plush quokka brought him endless joy—even after traveling nearly 10,000 kilometers by air and land, he never let it out of his sight. When we mentioned going to the zoo, he was thrilled. And when he heard there were pandas, his excitement went through the roof—"Panda! Panda!" he kept chanting.</p> <p class="ql-block">1月7日上午，我們乘地鐵前往位于市中心越秀區(qū)的廣州動物園。</p><p class="ql-block">On the morning of January 7th, we took the subway to Guangzhou Zoo located in Yuexiu District, the city center.</p> <p class="ql-block">動物園地鐵站的墻壁上有很多可愛的動物，支撐柱也是大樹的樣子。設計者的構思真是太巧妙了，讓人真切的感到動物園到了。</p><p class="ql-block">The walls of the Zoo Metro Station are decorated with adorable animal designs, and even the support pillars are shaped like giant trees. The designers' creativity is truly brilliant - you can instantly feel you've arrived at the zoo!</p> <p class="ql-block">走進動物園首先看到的是一片月季花園，各種顏色的月季花競相綻放，香氣襲人。</p><p class="ql-block">As we entered the zoo, our eyes were immediately greeted by a vibrant rose garden. Hmm, this little guy clearly has his own ideas and desires, yet he doesn't throw tantrums. Cheers from awestruck visitors kept erupting around us.</p> <p class="ql-block">小外孫豎起大拇指，為廣州塔點了個大大的贊。</p><p class="ql-block">Our little grandson gave a thumbs-up, declaring Guangzhou Tower with his biggest, most enthusiastic approval.</p> <p class="ql-block"><b>越秀公園 歷史篇</b></p><p class="ql-block">Yuexiu Park - History</p> <p class="ql-block">越秀公園是中國百家名園之一、羊城八景之一，也是最具中華文化特色的旅游風景名勝區(qū)之一。</p><p class="ql-block">今天的越秀公園張燈結彩，喜氣洋洋，敞開大門，歡迎來自全國和世界各地的游人。</p><p class="ql-block">Yuexiu Park is one of China's top 100 famous gardens, one of the "Eight Scenic Spots of Yangcheng", and a renowned tourist attraction showcasing quintessential Chinese cultural charm. </p><p class="ql-block">Today, Yuexiu Park is adorned with festive decorations, radiating joyous vibes as it warmly welcomes visitors from across the nation and around the world.</p> <p class="ql-block">越秀公園以越秀山為主體，是一個山地公園。</p><p class="ql-block">我們拾階而上，經(jīng)過廣州市與洛杉磯結為友好城市的紀念碑。</p><p class="ql-block">Yuexiu Park is a mountainous park centered around Yuexiu Hill. </p><p class="ql-block">We ascended the steps, passing by the monument commemorating Guangzhou's sister-city relationship with Los Angeles.</p> <p class="ql-block">陣陣的鼓樂聲傳來，遠遠望去，應該是附近的居民在公園搞活動。</p><p class="ql-block">越秀山文化底蘊深厚。相傳，兩千多年前，南越王趙佗每年農(nóng)歷三月初三，都要到這里登高游樂，隨行官員還在臺上跳越族歌舞。</p><p class="ql-block">如今，這里成了百姓開展文化活動的天然舞臺，也是歷史文化的一種傳承吧。</p><p class="ql-block">The rhythmic beats of drums and music drifted over—from afar, it seemed local residents were holding an event in the park. </p><p class="ql-block">Yuexiu Hill holds profound cultural heritage. Legend has it that over 2,000 years ago, Zhao Tuo, King of Nanyue, would ascend the hill for leisure every third day of the third lunar month, accompanied by officials performing Yue ethnic dances on the platform. </p><p class="ql-block">Today, this site has become a natural stage for public cultural activities, carrying forward its historical legacy.</p> <p class="ql-block">山頂屹立著一座五羊雕像。這是越秀公園的主要景點之一，也是廣州的標志。</p><p class="ql-block">At the hilltop stands the iconic Five Rams Statue—one of Yuexiu Park's premier attractions and a timeless symbol of Guangzhou.</p> <p class="ql-block">廣州，有一個古老又感人的傳說。</p><p class="ql-block">那是西周時期，當?shù)赝话l(fā)災荒，地里顆粒無收，百姓食不裹腹。有一天，天空傳來一陣悠揚的音樂，飄來五朵彩色祥云，身著五色彩衣的五位仙人，騎著口銜稻穗的五只仙羊從天而降。他們留下了優(yōu)良的稻穗后騰空飛逝，仙羊則化為石羊永駐廣州。從此，這里的麥子年年豐收，廣州成了嶺南最富庶的地方。</p><p class="ql-block">吃水不忘打井人，廣州自此被稱為五羊城、穗城或羊城。</p><p class="ql-block">Guangzhou's Ancient Legend of the Five Rams** </p><p class="ql-block">In the Zhou Dynasty, a famine struck the land, leaving crops barren and people starving. One day, celestial music filled the air as five immortals—robed in vibrant colors—descended on auspicious clouds astride five rams clutching golden rice stalks in their mouths. After bestowing the miraculous grain upon the land, the immortals vanished, while the rams turned to stone, forever guarding the city. </p><p class="ql-block">From then on, Guangzhou flourished as the most prosperous region of Lingnan. Grateful locals never forgot this divine gift, dubbing their city City of Five Rams" (Wuyang Cheng), "Rice Spike City" (Suicheng), or simply "Ram City" (Yangcheng)—names still used today.</p> <p class="ql-block">好動聽的故事，我喜歡！</p><p class="ql-block">"So happy you loved the story! ??"</p> <p class="ql-block">這是曾求學于廣州，后參加過廣州起義，解放并接管廣州，并擔任過廣州市長的革命家朱光寫的見證廣州巨變的詩《廣州好》。</p><p class="ql-block">This is "Guangzhou, How Lovely!"—a poem penned by revolutionary Zhu Guang, who studied in Guangzhou, later participated in the Guangzhou Uprising, liberated and governed the city, and served as its mayor, bearing witness to its remarkable transformation.</p> <p class="ql-block">路過一段古城墻，這是明代初年建造的，已有600多年歷史，是廣州現(xiàn)存的最古老的城墻。</p><p class="ql-block">城墻上攀附了很多樹根，讓人直觀“根深葉茂”。不知是古城墻養(yǎng)育大樹，還是大樹保護了古城墻，他們相親相愛，相依為命。</p><p class="ql-block">We passed by an ancient city wall, built in the early Ming Dynasty over 600 years ago—the oldest surviving wall in Guangzhou. </p><p class="ql-block">Tree roots clung densely to its surface, a vivid display of "deep roots and lush leaves."
