The journey offers beautiful views and is quite pleasant. It is located on a hill overlooking Marigot Bay and is a 18th-century military fortress.</p> <p class="ql-block"> 1789年，為了保護山下倉庫里的糧食、朗姆酒、咖啡和鹽，由時任法屬圣馬丁的總督讓-塞巴斯蒂安?迪拉下令建造。當時法國國王是路易十六，因此它也被稱為“路易堡”。</p><p class="ql-block">In 1789, in order to protect the grains, rum, coffee and salt stored in the warehouse at the foot of the mountain, Jean-Baptiste Dilla, the then governor of French Saint Martin, ordered its construction.
